    b. 1997, FR, based in Brussels

Thibaud Leplat’s research explores the field of visual arts through exhibitions and writing. As a curator, he is interested in the issues surrounding still and moving images in our actual context, the narratives that accompany them, and inclusive, process-based curatorial practices that seek to create a collective experience through exhibitions. As curator at Komplot (Brussels), he holds a Master’s degree in Exhibition Practices from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels (2024). He has worked with institutions such as La Loge, ISELP (BE), the Festival des Cinémas Différents et Expérimentaux de Paris (FR), Le Collectif Jeune Cinéma, Le Collectif Blast (FR), as well as the Belgian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (IT). In 2022/2023, he co-directed an exhibition program titled Discontinu in Belgium, aimed at collaborating with emerging artists and utilizing spaces outside of institutional circuits.

In 2024, he was awarded the Young Curators Programme and the SAFFCA Prize for an emerging curator.
